Coastal Senior College
......providing lifelong learning for seniors in Midcoast Maine
Make a tax-deductible donation...
Although course and membership fees pay for most of the costs of the College, special equipment and other needs will only be fulfilled if members are willing to make voluntary contributions in addition to the regular fees. All members are urged to include a tax deductible donation when they sign-up for courses.
Volunteer...
Coastal Senior College is operated by volunteers. Its success is directly tied to seniors who are willing to help in many different ways. The committees of the College where volunteers are needed include:
- Membership Committee - oversees efforts to maintain and grow our list of members.
- Marketing Committee - Publicizing the College's course offerings and the outstanding teachers who present them is a key to establishing good attendance at our sessions.
- Events Committee - Plans and over-sees CSC's one-day happenings such as trips, lectures, walks, and social events.
- Curriculum Committee - Finding good instructors and arranging for courses that will interest the membership is the key function of the College. this committee develops the curriculum for each session (Fall, Winter and Spring) and actively seeks feed back from course attendees in their evaluation of the course.
- Teacher - Please click here for more information.
